Chapter 97 [Bonus ] Using The New Movement-Type Skill

\'\'WHAT?? \'\' After a long moment of silence, Raydon exclaimed in shock. The sword nearly fell from his grasp. Of all the blows he had experienced during the fight, this one was the biggest.

He asked in astonishment as he gaped at Herman. \'\'H-how can you be a charisma build item holder? You look so ugly. \'\'

\'\'Your mother is ugly!!! You fucking ugly bastard!!! You just look young because of your rare body enchantment!!! \'\' Herman became furious upon hearing this, and his whole body shook as he began to yell.

Since he believed Raydon to be the same age as him but looks younger thanks to a body enchantment, he took this as a slap in the face. He was also aware of how ugly he was, but no matter how much research he did, he couldn\'t find anything that would restore him to his youthful appearance.

Meanwhile, while Herman was yelling angrily at him, Raydon\'s old memory from a while ago with the burly man resurfaced, and he snapped as well. \'\'How can you call me ugly when you have such an ugly face, you old bark? Have your experiments made you completely blind to your artistic vision? You should be too old and have lost your sight. \'\'

\'\'Y-You rat. \'\' With his last few teeth clenched, Herman pointed his finger at Raydon, and dozens of monsters he had just called forth from his dimensional storage started to charge at him.

\'Tch, your skill that you boast about will be your downfall.\'  Muttering, for the first time since purchasing it, Raydon used his movement-type skill.

\'\'Depart. \'\'

[Boots]

-Grade: Green

-Quality: Outstanding

-Skill: Depart

Locks onto a target and increases the user\'s speed by 25% until the target dies, vanishes, or the skill expires. If the target dies before the skill expires, the cooldown is reset, and the user gains 5% more speed and +30 seconds to the skill duration, which can be stacked up to 5 times.

The duration of the skill increases depending on the stamina stat.

-Mana cost: 6

-Duration: 5 minutes.

-Cooldown: 7 minutes.

His speed instantly increased by 25% as he locked his skill onto the closest Fallen Soldier who was approaching him. After using the skill, Raydon, who was already fast enough thanks to the berserker technique, moved even more quickly to the Fallen Soldier, swung his sword, and sliced the monster in half.

[Lv.1 Weakened Fallen Soldier(F-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 10 experience points.]

[The cooldown for the \'\'Depart\'\' skill has been reset.]

[The \'\'Depart\'\' skill now has a skill duration of +30 seconds.]

[Movement speed has increased by +5%]

\'\'Nice. \'\' Raydon locked his skill to the following monster as soon as he noticed the incoming system messages.

\'\'What!? \'\' Meanwhile, Herman was taken aback by the ease with which his Fallen Soldier died.

He was more surprised by Raydon\'s ability to split the Fallen Soldier in half with a single blow than by his speed. He increased his speed and used it to his advantage, swinging his heavy sword with greater momentum to increase the force of his blows.

"Killing just one doesn\'t make a difference. Let\'s see how you react if you\'re surrounded. \'\' Herman continued, sounding irate.

\'\'Mind of Death. \'\'

He used his skill and it appeared as though nothing had changed, but Raydon noticed the difference right away. Now that the monsters attacking him were more coordinated, their attacks began to combine.

\'His charisma must be quite high; he has excellent control over his soldiers. \' With a frown, Raydon said. He really didn\'t want to consider the possibility that this ugly man had high charisma.

\'\'Death Grip. \'\'

After witnessing Raydon use his sword to sever the next monster in half, Herman used his skill to obstruct his movement. Raydon, on the other hand, added one more combo hit to the monster he had just killed in one blow, and then swung the sword to scatter the smoke hand that was approaching him.

\'\'Shit!\'\'

\'\'Undead Tentacles. \'\'

\'\'Multishot. \'\'

Herman began using all of his skills to stop Raydon. It turned out that he had a pretty combined set of skills. In addition to using his soldiers to attack the enemy, he used his other skills to obstruct the movement of his enemies.

He also had the body enchantment for defense. Only a movement-type skill was lacking, but he didn\'t appear to require it either.

\'\'Shit, shit, shit…\'\'

Raydon easily avoided Herman\'s skills and killed each of his soldiers one by one as Herman watched and cursed. The skill combinations he\'d always relied on and worked with couldn\'t keep up with Raydon\'s speed right now. With his great sword and a plume of grayish smoke emerging from his mouth, Raydon whipped through the soldiers like a storm.

\'Where did this lunatic come from? All of my soldiers, on which I have spent a lot of time and effort, will perish if things continue as they are. \' Herman muttered while glancing at Raydon with a distressed expression. He spent a lot of time and gold coins creating these soldiers.

\'\'Stop!!! I will share my experiment results with you… Just stop!!! \'\' Herman shouted and pleaded with Raydon to stop when he could take it no longer, but his face fell when he heard the response.

\'\'I don\'t want. \'\' Raydon said with a grin.

\'\'Y-y-you!!! What do you want from me? \'\' He clenched his fists as he observed that only a small portion of his once nearly 100 soldiers were still present. He was now shaking with rage.

\'\'Your life. \'\' Raydon said, slicing the chimera in front of him with his sword before suddenly charging at Herman.

When Raydon slayed monsters, he was doing more than that. He not only used his skill to accelerate by 50% to reach the maximum stack, but he also used the momentum his sword had created to strengthen his final strike and slash at Herman.

\'\'No!!! \'\'

Herman was unprepared for the sword\'s approach, which caught him off guard. He had previously believed Raydon was incapable of harming him, but now he was aware that this sword strike could cause serious damage. It can even kill…. And so it did….

The sword fell vertically down the center of Herman\'s forehead, slicing through his chest, before finally coming to a stop, losing all of its force.

\'\'Even with that much power, I could only cut it halfway, huh,\'\' Raydon sighed.
