Chapter 215 Killing The Giant

Raydon watched the water slimes as they attacked him and watched as the health bar on each of the water slimes gradually decreased.

\'\'This would take a very long time. Now it\'s time to see how much I\'ve improved.\'\' Raydon flashed a grin before activating his combo.

\'\'Rusty Chain. \'\'

He called forth the chain, but instead of wrapping it around his arm, he simply held it loosely in his hand. Then, intense black flames erupted from both his body and the chain.

Raydon took a look at the water slimes that were still trying to attack him and noticed that their bodies were beginning to bubble and evaporate as a result of the black flames that he was using. After that, he whipped the chain around him in a circle, imitating the action of cracking a whip.

After observing that the slimes had lost even more moisture and shrunk in size, he whipped the chain once more.

[Lv.10 Water Slime (E-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 2000 experience points.]

..

[You gained 2000 experience points.]

"Now two strikes is enough." When Raydon realized that he had successfully eliminated all three slimes with his second attack, he let out a sigh of contentment.

With his increased spirit stat, not only did his attacks have more skill power, but they also had more power of his two elements, which made them more effective against water slimes.

\'\'Explosive Swarm. \'\'

After Raydon confirmed that he was once again able to put his skill to use, he once more called upon his bees.

Even though the new 10% chance of the sub-skill associated with his Spirit stat didn\'t get triggered and he only summoned 40 bees, Raydon didn\'t let his mood drop. Instead, he waved the chain in his hand and dove into the horde of water slimes to make another massacre.

He was attacking blindly because it was still dark around him and he didn\'t have a lot of vision. He was swinging the chain that was in his hand towards the only thing he could see, which was the HP bars.

In addition, the only type of attack that he was employing consisted of spinning the chain around him in a circle at a high rate of speed, dealing random damage to the slimes and to the environment that he was in.

\'\'Explosive Swarm. \'\'

\'\'Nice. \'\'

The water slimes that approached and attacked him were quickly and easily killed, and after a while, he used his skill once again and noticed that the number of bees he had summoned had increased to eighty from forty.

The fact that he didn\'t use any mana to trigger the sub-skill also made him realize how awesome it was.

With the motivation and excitement of his new subskills, Raydon kept farming experience points.

In addition, even though it might look like Raydon is just swinging his chain around aimlessly, he was actually doing so with a specific goal in mind the whole time, and it wasn\'t just to kill the slimes. Every time Raydon swung his chain, he dealt damage to the giant he was in, in addition to the damage he dealt to water slimes.

He had realized some time ago that Giant\'s defense and HP regen was weak, and now he was attempting to increase his attack range in the hopes that he could damage Giant from within and possibly even kill him.

His first plan involved climbing to the giant\'s head and attacking it there, but when he realized how long that would take and how much he liked the spot he was in for farming right now, he changed tactics.

While Raydon couldn\'t see the extent of the damage he was currently doing, each blow of his chain had already begun to light the flesh around him on fire, creating vast slits in the flesh walls. Additionally, it blew up with each bee that was called forth, and it started filling the interior of the giant with a raging inferno.

It would appear that even the water element of the giant was unable to withstand the enhanced death and fire elements that Raydon possessed right now.

\'Dude, even I am beginning to feel the heat at this point. \'

It had been more than an hour since he had begun killing the water slimes when he suddenly became aware that the surrounding area was now completely engulfed in flames. Even though he was still swinging his chain and attacking, he did not receive a message from the system informing him that he had killed a water slime for a while now.

\'It\'s likely that I annihilated all of the water slimes. \' When Raydon checked his experience points in the system, he discovered that his total accumulated experience points had already exceeded 4 million.

Despite this, he did not cease his assaults at any point. He still had time for Inheritance\'s time to run out, so he decided to try his luck at killing the giant instead of attempting to get the item from the top of the giant\'s head.

\'I think it started to show its effects.\'  After half an hour, Raydon felt a jolt from the giant and thought.

Because of his improved stamina and newly acquired subskills, he was able to keep using his combo, and he never once ceased his onslaughts until now.

As a consequence of this, he started to form the thought that the damage he had caused up to this point ought to have already had an effect on the giant.

And it ended up that Raydon was right all along with his assumptions. Even though the giant kept walking with his eyes closed and pretended like nothing had happened, the area around his waist was already completely covered by the smoke and black flames that were coming out of his ass, and they were continuing to spread further.

It seemed as though it was only a matter of time before the flames would consume the gigantic creature.
