Alexander The Great Mage

Chapter 133 - Blytoros

"Should I call Regis now?" Aleyria asked Alexander. "We might as well get him to join us to clarify the points which Blackfire raised."

"Yes. Let\'s start our war council."

Aleyria smiled at Alexander and gently waved her hand. A large bubble came into being around them.

A light gasp rang out from almost all who were present in the tent.

"I\'ve lost almost half of my powers!" Flamewing cried out lightly.

"Don\'t worry. It\'s my anti-magic shell. It will shield Regis Darkbane from the suppression of our Realm on his kind. In fact, being able to wield more than fifty percent of your power within this anti-magic shell is extremely good. I thought I\'ve suppressed energy by fifty percent within this shell. I guess my control over my strength is still very weak. How do you feel?" Aleyria looked at Alexander.

Whoosh. A dark aura appeared and swirled around Alexander.

"I am fine. I still can exert seventy percent of my power. The anti-magic shell should be good enough for Regis." Alexander nodded.

Aleyria nodded as well in agreement. She wasn\'t surprised that Alexander could still wield so much of his energy. He was a Scion King after all, and had the qualifications to resist her powers, if only barely. If she was able to gain full control of her powers, with so many different types of power within her combined seamlessly into one by the Black Phoenix\'s devour, she would be absolutely unstoppable. Not even Alexander could stand a chance.

She waved her hands once more and a dark portal that was similar to the one she had conjured before appeared. However, the new portal seemed much stronger than before.

Aleyria quickly sent a tendril of her will into the portal and summoned Regis Darkbane out once more.

"Princess Aleyria, my beautiful.... Ah!" His eyes bulged out in shock as he beheld Aleyria.

"YOUR MAJESTY! REGIS DARKBANE AT YOUR SERVICE!!" Regis Darkbane fell prostrate before Aleyria the moment he felt the level of Aleyria\'s power fluctuations.

In every single realm, power equals authority. Regis Darkbane had no qualms whatsoever in placing himself completely subordinate to an entity with power so far beyond what his senses could detect such as Aleyria.

Aleyria chuckled lightly at Regis\'s exaggerated antics.

"Regis Darkbane. I apologize for dragging you out so soon. I hope you do not mind."

"IT IS MY HONOR TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER YOUR SUMMONS!" Regis Darkbane shouted. "COMMAND ME, YOUR MAJESTY!"

"Alexander, he is all yours."

"Regis Darkbane. How loyal are you to your God?" Alexander began with a smile.

"Loyal?" Regis laughed. "There are no loyalties in the Realm of Darkness, no friends, no enemies, only interests. I am as loyal as Blytoros is useful to me." Regis Darkbane gave Alexander a sly look.

"Excellent! That\'s exactly what I was hoping to hear from you!" Alexander\'s smile grew wider. Even Aleyria chimed in.

"I am glad to hear that." Aleyria practically beamed at Regis Darkbane.

"Hahaha! I am the biggest opportunist in the world! If you can pay me enough, I will even sell my mother! Much less betraying a distant and cold God!" Regis Darkbane boasted.

"Really? How much would it take for you to betray us?" Caerose asked wryly.

"At least the doubling of my Kingdom." Regis Darkbane gave Caerose a beam that was no less enthusiastic than Aleyria\'s without hesitation and a shred of shame. "And a solid guarantee that you will all die, of course."

Caerose snorted and kept quiet. She had no interest in dealing with scum like him.

"Perfect! A straightforward, slimy, cunning, son of a serpent! Just what we need right now." Alexander exclaimed sincerely even though his words could easily be mistaken as sarcasm.

"Anything for the beautiful Goddess!" Regis Darkbane shouted.

"If you help us, we will make you an emperor. Over as large an area of the Realm of Darkness we could manage to acquire. We have no need for anything in the Realm of Darkness." Alexander looked at Regis Darkbane in the eye and made him an offer.

"I don\'t know what you\'re planning, but deal!" Regis Darkbane agreed immediately.

"We are planning an all out invasion into the Realm of Darkness. I need to know everything about your realm and the current situation. Tell me everything you know, starting from the number of Gods and their strengths.

Regis Darkbane, cool and composed as he was, dropped his jaw like a ton of bricks.

"It is impossible!" Regis Darkbane cried out after he finally regained a semblance of control over his jaws.

"Why?" Alexander demanded calmly.

"It\'s preposterous to even think about it. Your realm is WAY too underpowered to even consider doing such a thing! You should be thankful that WE are not invading your realm!" Regis Darkbane cried out.

"Why?" Alexander repeated his question once more.

"For one thing, very simply, you do not have the top tier combatants required to deal with the top tier combatants of the Realm of Darkness! We have THREE Gods in the Realm of Darkness. THREE! While you only have one, and a weak one at that!" Regis Darkbane practically shouted.

"Two Gods now." Aleyria said lightly.

"No, Princess Aleyria. You have one, and that is Magius. Forgive my frankness, but even though you wield a power that rivals the Gods at this moment, you are still a mortal. You have not condensed your Godhood, and because of that, you will not be able to defeat even Magius. Yes, you might be able to overpower him with brute force, but how long can you do that for? Your energy is finite, but a God\'s is infinite! You\'re a blazing inferno that reduces everything thrown at you to nothing but ash and vapor. But even then, what can you do against the endless sea?" Regis Darkbane ranted.

"And that is just against Magius! I know Magius, and I witnessed his power first hand in his final battle against your other two Gods. He is powerful, but in the Realm of Darkness, he is but at the level of Blytoros, the Neutral Lesser God of Tricks. He would not be able to fight against Hisa, The Evil Elder God of Spirits or Gilgama, the Good Elder God of Flames, at all. Now, if your main God, the Almighty were to take a visit to the Realm of Darkness, even by himself, I am sure that he would be able to achieve complete victory. But without him…

The only reason your realm still stands untouched by the flames of war is because of the realm suppression that the Almighty placed upon us. That powerful enchantment is, singularly, the only reason we have not crossed over en-masse. Even I, a weak little King, could barely last half a day under its suppression here in this realm! And if I can only last half a day, our Gods wouldn\'t be able to last even half a second here.

That is why it is absolutely impossible to launch an attack into the Realm of Darkness." Regis Darkbane concluded firmly.

"Condensing Godhood… Three Gods… Blytoros, The Neutral Lesser God of Tricks. Hisa, The Evil Elder God of Spirits. Gilgama, The Good Elder God of Flames." Alexander murmured, his deep, brown eyes flashing as his mind raced at high speed.

Alexander then turned to look at Aleyria. "Do you have any idea how to condense your Godhood?"

Aleyria shook her head lightly. "Magius would probably know, but I guess it is not a good time to talk to him now. Fluff-fluff might know something though."

"We\'ll pay her a visit later then to discuss this topic. How about you, Regis? Tell us everything you know about condensing Godhood." Alexander pressed on.

"I have no idea how that works." Regis shrugged helplessly. "All I know is that Gods have within them a Spark of Divinity that grants them endless amounts of energy. That Spark of Divinity also produces what you call the Godly Essence, which allows Gods to form specializations and define their powers."

"Hmmm." Alexander nodded. "You\'re very informative. How do you know so much about Gods? I would assume that the existence of the spark of divinity to be something mere mortals could never find out."

"Whatever I told you is actually common knowledge in the Realm of Darkness." Regis Darkbane chuckled. "You see, many, many years ago, The Realm of Darkness had, not three, but FIVE Gods!"

"Five? That\'s similar to our realm." Aleyria commented.

"Yes. Three Lesser Gods and Two Elder Gods. Along with Blytoros, The Neutral Lesser God of Tricks, there was Haju the Evil Lesser God of Blood and Golora the Good Lesser God of Lightning." Regis Darkbane explained.

"What happened?"

"Blytoros happened." Regis said with a laugh. "He tricked the two lesser Gods to get into a massive war, and then secretly plotted against both of them while openly standing on Golora\'s side. He gathered his Kings and taught us how to kill Golora.. That is how I know so much about Gods."
